In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone played inmate "Lorna Morello" in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a qualification from NIDA. Yael despite her young years, has had the opportunity to learn from the most famous storytellers in Australia. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new location within New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery encourages innovative writing, and creative endeavors from it's Bushwick studio.
